Case Study: Conway Consulting Engineers

Conway Consulting Engineers is a fast growing consultancy that works with architects, developers and construction companies. After two successful years in business the company needed a new brand strategy. Ozyp was hired to create a marketing plan that helped Conway stand out from the crowd. After researching the overall engineering industry, Ozyp created a branding strategy focusing on the fact that it was typical for other firms to win an account and then hand down the work to a junior executive. Most clients were very unhappy with the reduction in quality that resulted. At Conway, a principal member of the company always worked on the account. Ozyp created the theme “Principal involvement means guaranteed results.” We enacted a performance guarantee that was hinged on a program Ozyp created called the Principal Quality Control program, PQC. It ensured that every project was reviewed not only by the principal member of the firm but also an in-house peer review. As a result of these branding strategies Conway Consulting Engineers doubled its employee base in the first year of the campaign.
